The Alchemist has some exceptions compared to the other classes in PF2: - it's Key Ability Score isn't used for its offensive actions. It doesn't use INT to attack so that is a pitfall for class effectiveness. Also it means it can't start with an 18 in its attack stat.Ranged weapons with this trait use the range increment specified in the weapon's Range entry. You can throw this weapon as a ranged attack, and it is a ranged weapon when thrown. A thrown weapon adds your Strength modifier to damage just like a melee weapon does. When this trait appears on a melee weapon, it also includes the range increment.Yes, in the book it says 3 actions, but they published errata to make it just two. However, you can activate a poison with just one action. And, those two are not your only options. Empower Bombs 3+The one person I've seen who was *most* into the PF2 alchemist was really into acquiring every alchemical tool recipe they could, remembering what all of them did, and then keeping some reagents aside every day so that they could reach into that toolbox at a moment's notice. The Psychic's spellcasting emphasizes spell slots less than most full spellcasters, instead relying more heavily on spending Focus Points to "Amp" cantrips for additional effects. The PF2 Alchemist is currently in the same boat as the PF1 Monk or Rogue.
