2013 3.0 TDI - Probable EGR Valve coolant leak. I had to add one quart of coolant to the reservoir this weekend. I was backing up out of garage, low coolant warning came on the display, and yes, sure enough, the reservoir was low. Just about at the minimum marked level. The "diesel shop" that I used, (or was at the mercy at being 120 miles away from home,) seemed to know what they were doing, though they had not done this procedure on a 2009 jetta.I also noticed there was a missing skid plate/splash shield. I have no idea if I had one before they changed the oil or not as I havent had this car for long. I went to rockauto.com and bought a splash shield for $31 after shipping costs while vw wanted $175 for the same part.…

She has been DPF/EGR deleted and am loving every moment of driving her. She made almost 47-48 mpg with 5 people in the car (2 adults and 3 kids age 12,8,2) and full trunk of bags. DSG tune is very recommended for stage 2 malone tune.

Ignore the low oil pressure light which will come on when cranking. Just keep cranking.
