Within 2 weeks I started getting false full errors, and then today it has failed due to the pinch detect fault. I've spent hours watching self repair videos, cleaned the sensors, cleared the pinch detectors, and after 2 cycles it is back to pinch default errors. They over engineered this thing to have sensitive parts exposed to corrosion. Hey, all. About 9 months after the purchase of my litter robot 3 connect, I got the rapid yellow flash, telling me I had a fault in my pinch detector. After cleaning the metal bits failed, I ended up cutting the metal ends off and using a butt splice with an environmental seal to connect the 2 wires and bypass the pinch detector all together.Okay, that’s what I figured. Usually when rapid yellow appears, so does the flashing blue. You’ll need to get a DFI replacement kit and replace the DFI sensors and the pinch detect terminals. See one of my recent posts. Removing the bonnet, flexing/bending back the latches (I discovered I wasn't properly seating the back clasps in-place, this helped a bit with the jerky spinning but failed to avoid the pinch detect fault) Emptied the tray, ensured the bag was installed properly. Emptied the litter entirely and replaced to ensure it's below the fill line. When you get the chance, gain access to the pinch detect switch and get some petroleum jelly or equivalent, encapsulate completely the contact points of the switch, glob it on thick!
