Hello, I recently purchased the normcore 53.3 1.7mm puck screen for my Breville barista express to help with uneven water distribution from the breville shower screen. However the puck screen doesn't drop into the portafilter smoothly- gets stuck about an inch from the top and doesn't budge any lower to sit flush on top of the puck. If you can, you can go with the breville infuser and smart grinder pro which is essentially identical to the express but again same thing with the grinder.
