You can volunteer, shadow a doctor, work in a lab, or participate in a summer program that may include several of these experiences. To shadow a CRNA, the individual must be at least a senior in high school. Please note that persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in operating rooms. Shadowing participants are required to pay $50 per shadow experience (with one preceptor for 1-3 days, no more than 8 hours per day) via our APP Shadow Program Payment Portal.
