Descriptivists
Our aim is to advance the debate between prescriptivists and descriptivists by drawing a distinction between three levels of prescriptivism. The first is the focus of so much debate: prescriptivism about key parameters in the social welfare function. We call this parameter prescriptivism. There are two others.The Descriptivists.
