It's really hard to find much information about IH V8 gas engines, but from what I've seen the 392 shares a LOT in common with the 304 & 345. If you could get a 392 to run and pull over 5000 RPM it should make about 45-50 more HP and 45-50 more #/ft of torque than a 345.Posted December 12, 2008.
