Port forwarding is the job of Network Address Translation (NAT), which is a mechanism NOT even found in a router until IPv4 exhaustion becomes a concern.I tried dozens of things with the Verizon supplied G3100 router, which fortunately, is provided "free" with the package I got for Gb FIOS. I simply could NOT get port forwarding to work at all. Not for my NAS arrays, nor for my cameras.
