2010 Dodge Grand caravan won't start or click. Battery is good weeks old and showed 12 V. I bridged the starter and the solenoid spun (whiz) but starter doesn't engage. My buddy hooked it up to his computer and it showed no codes and said it was in neutral no matter what gear I put it in.Took it to the Dodge shop (I know these guys and trust them) and they couldn't find the issue. They replaced the TIPM, starter, couple of other things. Recently, I remembered a trick from somewhere - if it doesn't start, turn the key to "on" (not "crank") and put the shift into neutral. It starts from there every time.
