Game Discussion. World vs. World. Reviving WvW matchup threads. Once upon a time, there were weekly matchup threads for each tier of WvW matches. Each thread would quickly fill up with banter, compliments on good fights, posts about missed connections, amusing screenshots, and general conversations across the servers.This week's WvW matchups have killed WvW for me and many other servers. The only reason I play GW2 is to WvW. I command almost everyday, help run server training, coordinate with other guilds and try my best to improve my server on a week by week basis. Anything that can cc and put out a lot of damage puts ele in a bad spot. Spellbreaker is a bad match up. Ranger is potentially a bad match up depending on their build and if you are running focus. All forms of necro is a bad match up.Why are the servers so unbalanced? I think last matchup we were t3 and running pretty consistently in last place and now we are up against t2 players and it's so frustrating to have no land areas claimed and not able to claim due to outnumbered status. So much chat surrounding this matchup this month.
