It said in the chat "Corruption spreads" and started to rain thunder on all primitive mobs turning them into adapted mobs in the lost cities, dk exactly what caused it but i was in creative and spawned in tier 4 beckons and dispatchers so im thinking that caused it. I'd say use pike is best of ur new to lost or u can try mace as the bonus dmg works agenst most parasites and if u are latter on try getting a living or sentient scythe or battle axe.
