This unbricks any brick, as long as you don't go slicing up your 3DS. You don't need a NAND backup to unbrick. If you wish to later clean up your Luma3DS chainloader, you can delete *.firm payloads by pressing (X) on files at: 0:/luma/payloads (SD card) 1:/rw/luma/payloads (SysNAND CTRNAND) For the time being, worry about this later. However, keeping GodMode9.firm is recommended.

Hold (Select) on power on and make sure it says " Luma3DS configuration v10.2.1 " on the very top " Booted from SD via B9S " on the very bottom.
